Educational inequities are among the most pressing issues facing African nations today. For millions of children in Ghana and across the continent, access to quality education remains an uphill battle.

Literacy is more than just a fundamental skill—it’s a transformative force that can change the course of an individual’s life and, by extension, society as a whole. In Ghana and across the world, literacy opens doors to opportunity, personal empowerment, and social mobility.

In September, I announced the launch of a project very close to my heart: The Ghana Project. Over the past two months, I’ve been preparing for my first-ever 10KM race while working to raise £3,500 to support literacy for children in rural Ghana.
